I've given up on natural face care - Dry skin - Active lifestyle

Yep. I've given up. I tried Argan oil; it made my foundation sink into my wrinkles and wasn't good enough for my dry skin. I tried Olay for sensitive skin, and it made my face itchy and red. Crazy! I tried Benefit, and although it felt nice, it had a strong fragrance and gave me acne. I used the All Good Things products but they didn't seem to clean well enough for somebody as active as me. My breakouts never cleared..even after the entire bottle.

What has worked?

Olive oil has been great most of the time but doesn't seem to moisturize enough on it's own. I bought the Got To Be Carrots night cream. I also got the under eye cream. These seem to work for my dry skin and active (thus, sweaty) lifestyle. At least I'm cutting out some chemicals, but my skin is drying out, and my breakouts aren't clearing. So, I went to Clinique. I told the girl all of my problems. Clinique is fragrance free and allergy tested. I bought the three-step program. Cross your fingers. I hope this works! Anybody else use Clinique?

Florence - Your Personal Italy Tour of the Chianti Region

Your Personal Italy (www.yourpersonalitaly.com) was a marvelous experience. It cost €500 for the four of us, and it was worth every bit! Our first stop was a US War Memorial... in Italy. Very cool.

 The village of Montefioralle

I know... we're precious.

Falorni butcher shop in Greve

The original butcher block!

We tasted yummy prosciutto and wild boar salami!

 Montagliari Winery

We got to taste wine, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar!

Balsamic vinegar casks. It takes 15-20 years to make a good balsamic vinegar.

Lovely drive!

 Dinner At Il Latini

Some of our friends from Aberdeen arrived in Florence that night! Since it was Chris and Angela's anniversary, we decided to meet up with Shuo, Nicky, and their son, Taylor. We had such a great time. I highly recommend this place. There was so much food, and it was delicious!
This platter of meat came after 4 appetizers and 3 giant plates of pasta that were shared! It has steak, beef ribs, pork, wild boar, rabbit, and veal!

Dessert number 1.

Dessert number two - Dessert wine and biscotti
Dessert number 3 - bubbly
And of course at the end, there was Lemoncello!
