Venice - Part 2 - Campanile di San Marco, Rialto Bridge, and Antica Trattoria Pizzeria

The following pictures are views from Campanile di San Marco, the clock tower in Piazza San Marco. You can click on them to enlarge the pictures.

 Rialto Bridge

Don't you love the two people bending over in our picture? hehe

I really like this picture.

 Around town

Tired after a long day of walking!

 Awesome dinner spot!

Antica Trattoria - Pizzeria - "alla Ferrata"

Venezia Santa Croce, Calle Larga dei Bari, 1103

The food was really good. The servers were great! They took lemoncello shots with us. They were friendly and so fun! They hugged and kissed us all good-bye when we left! In Venice, go here for dinner.

Venice! - Part 1 - Hotel, Gondola, City Streets, and San Marco

Where We Stayed:

Domina Cà Zusto
Nice, central location. Very nice staff. Breakfast was really good. Good coffee. My only complaint was that the bed was really uncomfortable.

Ciao Chris and Angela!

Ciao Steve!

The City

Instead of cars, they use boats. Police, taxi, garbage, deliveries, personal 'vehicle'... all boats. :)

Gondola Ride!!

Only bridge in Venice without railing/sides

I thought this hook was neat!
Steve loves gelato

Yummy pizzas, but you had to saw them apart with a butter knife.

We tried lots of different beer!

Narrow, maze-like streets

Many bridges

San Marco

The best time to go is at night! Few people.

Here it is during the day. Crowded!

Attack of the pigeons!

Closer look at the statues on top
