More Good-Byes and Good-bye Gifts

Well, as an expat, this is how life goes, right? You say "good-bye' to old friends. You say "hello" to new friends. We are saying good-bye to so many in Aberdeen lately. Two women from my Bible study group are leaving, Kristina and Susan. We took one last group picture.

I also said good-bye to my friend, Pam, this weekend. She and her husband are off to London and then to Oman. They also have a baby due in about a month! I hope that I can get down to London to meet baby before they leave for Oman. I was lucky in that I got to spend one more "typical" day with Pam before her leaving. We played Mahjongg and then took a walk in Hazelhead Park. It was a lovely day.

After our walk, I started thinking about the things we liked to do together (I know.. I'm sentimental): walks, Mahjongg, and coffee are our usual. So I thought this would make a nice good-bye gift:

  1. That's cool that your friend Pam and her new baby are coming to Oman. Tell her to check out my blog if she has any questions about life here and life with a baby, my Bub is 4 months old now so I'm getting the hang of things :-)

    Keep blogging!

  5. I think he was returned because they didn't put enough postage on him. My guess is the teacher never mailed him off again.
